The Office of the City Attorney performs many vital services:
- Provides all legal opinions for the City of Clarksburg
- Is legal counsel for all City Boards and Authorities, with the exception of the following:
- Prepares and reviews all City contracts and agreements
- Researches and prepares City ordinances
- Prosecutes litigation
