Police
The Clarksburg Police Department is a nationally-accredited, full-service agency employing 42 sworn police officers and five civilians. The department is responsible for the protection of life and property, enforcement of the law, preserving peace, and the prevention of crime.
Training Complex
The Firearms Training Complex consists of three Firearms Instructors and two Range Safety Officers. The Firearms Training Complex is a state of the art shooting range with 12 shooting lanes, 4 pop up targets, and 1 running man and a range tower.

Administration
Chief of Police, Mark Kiddy is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the Department.

Detective Division
The Detective Division consists of five detectives and an administrative specialist.

Fingerprinting
Clarksburg Police Department fingerprints for those persons requesting them for employment or other purposes.

Honor Guard
The Clarksburg Police Department Honor Guard was formed to provide ceremonial assistance in a variety of situations.

Patrol Division
Police Officers are the first to respond to a wide variety of calls for law enforcement assistance.

Records Division
The Clarksburg Police Departments Records Division is responsible for maintaining the safety and integrity of the department’s records involving its activities.

SWAT
Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) consists of eleven highly motivated officers, who are extensively trained in special weapons and tactics.

A tip line is provided for citizens to report areas of concern.
