Convenience Fee
There is a convenience fee assessed for each bill paid online. The convenience fee is the charge assessed by a credit card payment processing vendor or company to accept and process a credit card payment for you, the customer, in payment of a billed charge or service which has been provided. The convenience pay scale is as follows:
- $0.01 to $50 = $2
- $50.01 to $100 = $2.95
- $100.01 to $200 = $4.95
- $200.01 to $300 = $6.95
- $300.01 to $400 = $8.95
Continue adding $2 to the convenience fee for each incremental $100 payment amount range. Paying by electronic check, or e-check, will incur a flat convenience fee of $2.95 for all payment amounts.
