The City of Clarksburg and its utility partners will be performing essential infrastructure upgrades throughout several areas on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Please review the affected locations below and plan accordingly. Work areas are subject to change.

Clarksburg Sanitary Board and Clarksburg Water Boards contractors will not be working. 

Hope Gas Contractor:

Concrete crew work will be all clean-up & moving plates:

-South Lane of W Main St starting at 5th St working East through 4th & 5th St intersections (5th St closed)

-4th St between Pike & Mian

Gas Crew Work:

-Crews in N Lane of W Pike St starting at JS pawn Shop to Sycamore St

-Crew on Hewes between 3rd & 4th (closed) detour down third

-crew on 4th st off of W Pike right before one way bridge to complete centra bus station service & long side service to Jacobys (this could cause some delays on 4th St bridge) 

-Crew just south of Washington St on EB Saunders
