Michael J. Romano, Attorney at Law

Attorney Michael J. Romano has been bringing experienced legal counsel to the Central Business District of Clarksburg for decades. Romano is not only an experienced attorney who represents individuals and small businesses throughout West Virginia and Pennsylvania, but is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the West Virginia State Senate.

Romano handles multifaceted legal cases in both state and federal courts focusing on bodily injury, insurance disputes, and business litigation. His experience representing individuals who have suffered because of a life altering auto accidents, serious injury, or have been wronged through unfair business tactics throughout West Virginia deserve the security and experience of having Michael Romano represent them.

For decades, attorney Romano has been a member of the American Association for Justice and the West Virginia Association for Justice. He has been named to the Trial Lawyer of the Year and was chosen as a Best Lawyer and Super Lawyer, and most recently been chosen by his peers as one of the Top 10 Personal Injury Lawyers in West Virginia. Romano is an active member of: the West Virginia State Bar, Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia, Harrison County Bar Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, and West Virginia State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Attorney Romano also sits on numerous boards and commissions.

Attorney Romano is responsible for securing the single largest verdict between a single plaintiff and a single defendant in the state of West Virginia.

In addition to being a decorated attorney, Romano is a member of the West Virginia State Senate, currently serving on the Judiciary, Education, Economic Development, and Technology Committees. In 2010, Mr. Romano was elected as one of three County Commissioners for Harrison County. Romano is a dedicated member of the community and guest lectures at high school and collegiate levels. Mr. Romano is devoted husband to his wife, Amy and father to his two children, Emma and Michael.
