Welcome to the Office of the City Manager. The City Manager's Office is staffed by the City Manager, an Economic and Community Development team, Personnel Director, and an Executive Secretary. All City Department Heads report directly to the City Manager and the City Manager reports directly to City Council.

The City Manager is appointed by and reports directly to City Council. The City Manager oversees and coordinates the City's daily operations. General policy guidelines, as set by City Council, are directed through the City Manager's Office to various City departments. The Manager is responsible for conducting studies and making recommendations and reports to the Mayor and City Council. In addition, the Manager carries the Charter-assigned authority to enforce all laws and ordinances, appoint department heads, and recommend the annual budget.

The City Manager's Office is located on the second floor of City Hall at 222 West Main St., Clarksburg, WV. Regular business hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday.
