The City of Clarksburg has a Class 3 ISO rating. The Clarksburg Fire Department consists of 42 full-time, paid firefighters and operates three engines, a 100' straight stick quint and a medium duty rescue out of four stations. We strive to provide the best protection and service possible to our city and visitors. We provide a variety of services to the community and are here for one reason – to help you.
Our firefighters are members of the International Association of Firefighters. They are the best in the country and are extremely proud of their Fire Department. With their pride, comes ownership. An ownership that has been forged by a belief in core values such as pride, honor, and integrity. We have a heart for those who have been touched by tragedy. We consider your family our family, and our firehouses are your firehouses. Whether you are a resident, business owner, or a visitor, our goal is to take care of you as if you were a member of our family, because you are!
