NOTICE TO CLARKSBURG
CITY RESIDENTS
The City of Clarksburg is now accepting applications from Clarksburg citizens (those citizens who reside within the city limits) who may be interested in serving their community with an appointment to a city board or commission. Presently, there are openings for the following:
Municipal Building Commission
Board of Park Commissioners (Park Board)
Please note that persons applying for the Municipal Building Commission must be affiliated with a political party other than the Democratic Party as there shall be no more than two-thirds of the members of said Board from the same political party.

URA meets on the second Thursday of every month at 8:30 AM (or when activity is low, on an as-needed basis).
The URA is the entity that the City uses to buy and sell property for development purposes. Through profits made on development projects, the URA can reinvest into other economic development programs. |

This five (5) member board is comprised of City department heads.
The Traffic Commission meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 9:00 a.m. (on an as-needed basis) to discuss and address various traffic issues. Actions taken by the Traffic Commission come before Council for approval. |
