The City of Clarksburg Code Enforcement Office, located on the second floor of the Municipal Building, is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the State of West Virginia Building Codes and its referenced standards. The Office also administers and manages the City Zoning and Planning Ordinances and the FEMA Certified Floodplain Management Program.

City of Clarksburg Building Codes
The City of Clarksburg has adopted the Sate of West Virginia Building Code. The City Building Code is comprised of the following International Code Council (ICC) Codes:

The City Code Officials are responsible for the enforcement of the City of Clarksburg Building Codes.
