Reopening Clarksburg City Hall

The City Hall of Clarksburg will reopen with restrictions beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2020 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Our administration will be making every attempt to keep the public and city employees safe while providing services that are needed to the community.

We ask that you continue to utilize the drive thru window; however, the first floor of City Hall will be open for walk-in traffic. You will only have access to the Cashier’s Office. From there, we will be able to assist with all the City services.  The City Manager, City Clerk, Police Department, Code Enforcement, and the Finance Departments will be available by appointment only. If you would like to speak to an officer at the station, please continue to utilize the phone in the back of City Hall next to the Police Department. If you need a police report, please call ahead and you can pick it up using our drive through window. The doors to the Police Department and Municipal Judge will be open; however, we ask that one person at a time is seen. The Judge will conduct his business behind the plexiglass for everyone’s safety.


The second floor of City Hall will be closed to the public; however, will be open for Council Meetings with a 25-person max that includes Council and Administration. We will continue to stream our meetings using Facebook.  The restrooms will be closed to the public and all visitors are asked to wear masks, as they will not be provided. We will only permit one person in the Cashiers Office at a time; all others will be asked to remain in the lobby and follow the current social distancing guidelines.
