Rock Forge Bridge Company is currently in the process of replacing the Camden Street Bridge in the Hartland section of Clarksburg. The Camden Street Bridge replacement is a Division of Highways project. A two (2) span 90ft US Truss bridge with a pedestrian sidewalk will be replacing the former bridge in its exact location. The new bridge design is similar to the former bridge that used to stand, but the new design will feature a poured concrete lane rather than asphalt. This design is utilized to protect the integrity of the bridge. The bridge is being replaced due to failing stringer floor beams. With the new bridge design the problem of failing beams will be eliminated.
The former bridge has been demolished, and Rock Forge Bridge Company is currently working on the substructure of the bridge in preparation and erection of the new bridge structure. Based on the progress of work currently completed, the structure is still set to be completed in May of 2019.
